🌊 Swim the Sound 2025 – Dive In for a Great Cause! 🏊‍♀️

Join us on Sunday, June 15th, 2025, for Swim the Sound — our annual open-water swim fundraiser in the stunning North Sound, Virgin Gorda, to support VISAR (Virgin Islands Search and Rescue).

This is more than just a swim — it’s a chance to challenge yourself, enjoy the BVI’s beautiful waters, and help us raise funds for vital life-saving operations at sea.

📍 Location:

The race begins at Bitter End Yacht Club and finishes at Leverick Bay Marina.

🏊‍♂️ Swim Courses:

Choose from three distances to suit your pace:

• ½ Mile Swim : Off the fuel dock at Leverick Bay Marina

• 1 Mile Swim : Off a boat near Prickly Pear

• 2 Mile Swim : Off the beach at Bitter End Yacht Club

Costumes, fins, snorkels, and fun are all welcome in the assisted category!

Support your friends and enjoy the fun from the shore with a BBQ lunch, music, and more.

💵 Entry Fees:

Swimmers

• $125 – Includes race entry, goodie bag, BBQ lunch, ferry from Tortola, and race t-shirt

   

• $100 – All of the above without the race t-shirt

   

Cheer Squad (Tortola)

• Adult (Ferry + BBQ): $60

   

• Child (Ferry + BBQ): $45

   

Cheer Squad (Virgin Gorda)

• Adult (BBQ Only): $35

   

• Child (BBQ Only): $20

 Registration is open and early registration is required.

Step 1: Read VISAR’s Liability Release which can be found HERE. Once you’ve read the liability release, press the back button to return to VISAR’s website.

Step 2: VISAR will be using a Google Form for registration. Please click HERE below to be connected to the form. Once you’ve submitted the Google registration form, press the back button to return to VISAR’s website.

Step 3: Once you’ve registered you will need to call Sophia +1 284 499 0990  (call or WhatsApp) to pay via credit card or to arrange drop off at VISAR’s base.
