VISAR participated in Summer Splash, an annual open water sea swim that took place at Smugglers Cove on Saturday. Many families came to the event where even pets were able to participate! Participants of all ages raced in 800 meter or 1.6 kilometer swims. Crew members set up race marks and stood by for the safety of swimmers. Once the races were over the boat was anchored and crew had the chance to talk with participants.
