Gorda Peak IV ready for action!
Isn't she a beauty? We think so!
Gorda Peak IV has been built to specific design requirements for VISAR and the BVI waters. In May 2007 we took ownership of Spirit of Tortola, again made to specs we had requested. From those specs and a few years of hard work, we made upgrades to even that design!
Gorda Peak IV has just finished her required engine hours and once all her equipment is set in place, she will be the newest addition to our constantly tweaked arsenal of safety necessities.
She boasts a length of approx 26 foot, Kevlar inlays and self righting gear. She is ocean approved and is made to military grade, not commercial!
Her medical equipment is on par with our latest training and will, of course, be maintained and upgraded to VISAR's strict standards.
